Abstract

• In April 2019 the South Kalimantan NTP was recorded 94.61 or down 0.46 percent compared to the NTP in March 2019 which reached 95.05. The decline in NTP was due to the index of prices received by farmers (It), which only rose 0.15 percent, while the price index paid by farmers (Ib) rose by 0.60 percent.
• In April 2019 in rural areas of South Kalimantan experienced inflation of 0.76 percent, where the entire group price index increased around 0.03 - 1.61 percent. The highest foodstuffs group rose 1.61 percent.
• South Kalimantan's April 2019 Agriculture Household Exchange Rate (NTUP) amounted to 103.27 or decreased by 0.03 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month which reached 103.30.
• The average grain price of Dry Grain Harvest (GKP) quality at the farm level fell 1.77 percent, from Rp 4,934.25 per kg in March 2019 to Rp 4,847.03 per kg in April 2019. Likewise the price of grain at the milling rate fell 1.71 percent from Rp 5,025.80 per kg in March 2019 to Rp 4,939.98 per kg in April 2019.
