Abstract

• In October 2018, inflation occurred in the city of 0.10 percent. The inflation rate for the 2018 calendar (October 2018 against December 2017) is 1.72 percent and the inflation rate for "year on year" is 2.54 percent. Commodities experiencing price increases with the highest share of inflation in Banjarmasin City include gasoline, wet shrimp, race chicken, salted telang fish, gold jewelry.
• In Tanjung City, in October 2018 there was inflation of 0.20 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year 2018 (October 2018 against December 2017) inflation was 2.14 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" was 4.19 percent. Commodities experiencing price increases with the highest share of inflations in Tanjung City include: race chicken, gasoline, mustard greens, cork fish, cucumber.
• Out of 82 cities that calculated the consumer price index, there were 66 cities experiencing inflation, the highest inflation in Palu by 2.27 percent, and the lowest in the city of Cilegon by 0.01 percent, and 16 cities experiencing deflation, the highest deflation in Bengkulu city by 0 , 74 percent, the lowest in Tangerang city by 0.01 percent.
